Useful links for parents in Qubec, Canada

In Canada, two Neonatal Intensive Care Units collaborate in "The HIP Trial" research project. This includes the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Centre Hospitalier Sainte-Justine in Montral (CHU) in Qubec and the NICU at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.

Canadian Premature Babies Foundation

The Canadian Premature Babies Foundation or Fondation pour Bbs Prmaturs Canadiens is a website that provides information relating to premature birth. This bilingual website is available in English and French.



Prma-Qubec, l'association qubecoise pour les enfants prmaturs, was established 2003 by parents of premature babies in Qubec. The parent organisation works in close contact with neonatologists, nurses and other NICU staff in Qubec for example by offering parents a hotline. Parents can also get together and exchange their experiences in the "Caf Causeries" taking place at different hospitals.
